NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PLANNING AND DESIGN

This scheme is located on the Kent coast at St. Mary’s Bay, between Hythe and Dymchurch. The site benefits from its proximity to the village services and excellent views over the sea and beach, and consists of 85 dwellings. We were appointed to carry out the design, planning drawings and further illustrative material, and Design & Access Statement for the whole scheme.

The proposal features a mix of dwelling types and styles, all of which are appropriate for a Coastal Kentish setting, with emphasis on townscape quality and quality of life. It also has been designed to overcome flood risk. The proposal includes a public car park and much open space, including a new Coastal Park almost half a kilometre long.

The first phase of the construction project is currently undergoing, with some of the units already completed!
